The patented slipstick foot is uniquely designed for long-term protection of hard surfaced floors. Slipstick Feet are comprised of a hard plastic disk with a specially formulated insert O-ring that reduces the risk of floor surfaces becoming marked and scratched, plus on the larger sized feet, it will reduce unwanted movement of furniture.
Some other tips to keep your floors looking its best;
- Install blinds or tint windows in areas that receive direct sunlight. Direct sunlight can shrink and discolour your floor. Window coverings will prevent this from happening
- With indoor pets, keep their nails trimmed so they don't scratch your floor
- Sweep your floor daily to avoid sand and dirt scratching the floor when walked on
- Avoid wearing stilettos on your timber floor
- Never flood the floor with water
- Use a non-chemical floor cleaner to mop your floors. Harsh chemicals in some cleaners actually strip the coating from tiles and timber flooring
- Every two years, or as needed, rebuff your timber floor and apply a maintenance product. We can do that for you or you can DIY. It reduces scratches and restores the 'new' finish to your floor. It can be applied and dry in two hours. We recommend and use 'Bona-Freshen up'
